चरित्रनायक शिवाजी महाराज हे जातिधर्मांच्या पलीकडे जाऊन आपल्या अंतःकरणात सर्वांना सामावून घेणारे आणि त्यांचे चरित्र लिहिणारा लेखक मात्र निःसंदिग्धपणे स्वजातिवर्चस्वाच्या भावनेने पुरता पछाडलेला. असा मनुष्य त्या महामानवाच्या चरित्राला न्याय कसा देऊ शकेल बरे ?

पुरंदरे, तुम्ही बहुजन समाजाला खोट्या, बदनामीकारक, कृत्रिम, नकली, बनावट, फसव्या भाषेच्या भपक्याने दीर्घकाळपर्यंत खुलवले, झुलवले आणि भुलवले- पण अस्सल आशयाने फुलवले मात्र नाही ! मानले पाहिजे तुम्हांला : आपल्या जनसमूहाचे वर्चस्व टिकवण्यासाठी किती खस्ता खाल्ल्या हो तुम्ही
