आपण या पाच जणांचे काय करायचे ?

त्यांनी शोषक व्यवस्थेविरुद्ध विशेष काही केले नाही, ही त्यांची मर्यादा मनात ठेवून आपण तिच्यावरच बोट ठेवत रहायचे, त्यांना परके मानायचे, त्यांना दूर सारायचे, त्यांना विसरून जायचे, की त्यांना नाकारायचे ? या प्रश्नांनी मनात थैमान घातल्यानंतर माझ्या मनात असाही विचार येतो – ते आपले शत्रू होते काय, किंवा आपल्या शत्रूना सामील झाले होते काय ? त्यांनी आपल्या अहिताचे, अकल्याणाचे, विनाशाचे, विध्वंसाचे काही केले होते काय ? मनातील गोंधळ शांत झाल्यावर माझे मन मला सांगते, की यांच्यापैकी कोणीही असे काहीही केले नव्हते. हजार मर्यादा असतील त्यांच्या पण ते आपले हितचिंतकच होते, ते शोषक नव्हते तर शोषित होते. मग आपण शोषकांच्या बाजूने उभे रहायचे, की शोषितांच्या ? आणि मुख्य म्हणजे ते आपले होते, आपलेच होते! अशा स्थितीत त्यांच्या हजार मर्यादा मान्य करूनही आपण त्यांच्यापुढे लक्ष लक्ष वेळा नतमस्तक झाले पाहिजे, त्यांच्याविषयी कृतज्ञता व्यक्त केली पाहिजे, आपल्या काळजाचा एक छोटासा बिंदू तरी त्यांच्या अस्तित्वासाठी राखून ठेवला पाहिजे 

What should we do with these five people?

They did not do anything special against the exploitative system, should we keep our finger on it, consider them as strangers, distance them, forget them, or reject them? After these questions have overwhelmed my mind, I also think – were they our enemies, or had they joined our enemies? Had they done anything to our harm, harm, destruction, or devastation? After the confusion in my mind calms down, my mind tells me that none of them had done anything like this. They may have had a thousand limitations, but they were our well-wishers, they were not exploiters but exploited. So should we stand on the side of the exploiters or the exploited? And most importantly, they were ours, they were ours! In such a situation, despite accepting their thousand limitations, we should bow down before them a hundred thousand times, express our gratitude to them, and reserve at least a small point of our heart for their existence.
